Welcome to “China’s E-commerce Economy”. This lecture consists of three parts: Background Knowledge, Electronic Economy in Daily Life, and the Great Role of E-Commerce. The first part contains the basic concept of e-commerce, the rapid development of China's e-commerce and the reasons behind that. The second part introduces e-commerce in daily life, including shopping, ordering take-away, traveling, filing taxes, etc. The last part focuses on the contribution of e-commerce to the Chinese and foreign economies during the pandemic and its role in poverty alleviation.
