China's modern sci-tech is developing rapidly, with new progress & success in many areas. In this class, the lecturer will pick a few examples, like hybrid rice and sea rice, plant fiber adhesive, Chang'e 5, Beidou System, "China Sky's Eye", Chinese high-speed rail, "Tiankun" vessel, "Jiaolong" manned submersible, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB), to illustrate the development of contemporary science and technology in China.
