1Lingnan culture refers to the culture of China's Lingnan region, which is divided into Guangdong culture, Guangxi Culture and Hainan culture. This lecture focuses on Guangdong culture. The content of Lingnan culture covers literature, painting, calligraphy, music, crafts and so on. This lecture mainly introduces the folk custom, diet, opera and architecture of Lingnan. Lingnan's folk customs are diverse, diverse and inclusive. Even the festivals (such as the Dragon Boat Festival, Spring Festival, etc.) all over the country can highlight the charming and unique Lingnan style. Cantonese cuisine is one of the eight major cuisines in China, which consists of three local flavors: Guangzhou cuisine, Chaozhou cuisine and Dongjiang cuisine. During the period of the Republic of China, Cantonese cuisine gained a dominant position in Shanghai and won the honor of "national cuisine", thus the reputation of "eating in Guangzhou" arose. Cantonese opera, known as "southern red bean", is a traditional opera sung in Cantonese dialect. It is now popular in Guangdong, Guangxi, Hong Kong and Macao, and has been brought to all parts of the world by overseas Chinese in Guangdong. Lingnan area is humid and hot. Therefore, the buildings in Lingnan area pay attention to ventilation, heat dissipation, moisture-proof and lighting. In a word, Lingnan culture, as the most distinctive and dynamic traditional Chinese culture, has a long history and is broad and profound.
