This course will focus on introducing the most representative drama in Chinese opera, Beijing Opera. Lead the student to swim in the ocean of Beijing Opera. Beijing Opera is the most popular and influential Opera in China. It has a history of nearly 200 years and it is the quintessence of China. This course will briefly introduce the origin and artistic expression of Beijing Opera, focusing on the costumes, Facial Makeup and Roles of Beijing Opera, and intersperse the video collection of Facial Makeup made by students of the International Education College of Yanshan University and the video collection of Beijing Opera stage performances during the theoretical knowledge explanation process. It stimulates the visual and auditory senses of students, mobilizes students' interest in learning, and enhances artistic appeal. At the end of the course, students will watch classic clips from "Rap Facebook" and lead them to sing.
