2The course mainly summarizes and introduces the macro and micro experience of China's reform and opening up and its significance for global economic recovery and global poverty reduction from the perspective of special economic zones and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. This course is divided into three modules: Module 1: “From the special economic zone to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”, is an introduction to the top-level design and strategic deployment of China's gradual reform and opening up. Lecturer: Pu Hualin, PhD in Economics. His main research field is international specialization and trade. Module 2: “From economic growth to comprehensive and balanced social development”, is an analysis of the initiative and flexibility of the Guangdong local government to implement the central strategic deployment. Lecturer: Liu Yufan, PhD in Economics. Her main research field is labor economics. Module 3: “From grassroots entrepreneurship to global giants”, demonstrates the creativity and global vision of Chinese entrepreneurs through case studies of Guangdong enterprises. Lecturer: Chen Jie, PhD in management. Her main research field is corporate strategic management.
