1Sichuan cuisine is one of the eight major cuisines of China, and it is also the most distinctive cuisine with the most variety of flavors. Sichuan cuisine is famous for its complex and varied seasonings, so it is said “China is the place for food but Sichuan is the place for flavor”. In the Sichuan Cuisine Museum course, we will go to the ( Chengdu ) Sichuan Cuisine Museum, and follow the narrator to explore the charm of Sichuan cuisine culture. There are four parts of this course, first, to visit the classic collection hall, in which you may touch the essence of Sichuan cuisine culture. And then in Raw Material and Processing Tools display areas, we will learn about the production process of Pixian Douban and Zhongba Sauce. In the third part, we will watch the chef demonstrate the cutting skills of Sichuan cuisine. The Kitchen God is an integral part of the traditional Sichuan cuisine culture, so at the end of the course, the narrator will introduce the Kitchen God Ancestral Hall and worship him.
