This course introduces the typical lifestyle and culture of Tianjin based on Ancient Culture Street, the largest traditional assembling place of Culture in Tianjin and Tianhou Palace, the oldest extant Mazu temple of China. It covers business culture such as Laozhai medicine sugar and Lao Meihua shoe shop, folk art culture including “Tianjin crosstalk” and “Tianjin clapper talk”, Mazu culture of Tianhou Palace, local customs such as “Yangliuqing New Year Paintings” and “Clay Figurine Zhang”.
