1Tai chi is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for defense training, health benefits, and meditation. The term taiji is a Chinese cosmological concept for the flux of yin and yang, Taijiquan is a fist system based on the dynamic relationship between polarities (Yin and Yang). Today, tai chi has enthusiastic practitioners worldwide. Most modern styles of tai chi trace their development to one or more of the five traditional schools: Chen, Yang, Wu (Hao), Wu, and Sun.
太极拳是中国的一种内家拳术,练习太极拳的目的是为了防身训练、保健和冥想。太极一词是中国阴阳流变的宇宙学概念,太极拳是基于极性(阴阳)之间的动态关系的拳法体系。传统太极拳门派众多,常见的太极拳流派有陈式、杨式、武式、吴式、孙式等派别,各派既有传承关系,相互借鉴,也各有自己的特点,呈百花齐放之态。
