Chinese characters have been in use for the longest time, and are the only one among the major writing systems of the ancient times that have been passed down to the present. Modern Chinese characters have evolved from Oracle, Jinwen, Seal Script, to Clerical Script, Cursive Script, Regular Script, and Running Script. This course introduces the history of Chinese characters, the development of Chinese characters, leading participants to appreciate the beauty of Chinese characters.
