Being an essential part of the Huizhou culture, Hui-style architecture has always been admired by architects domestically and internationally. This course will firstly cover the historical changes of Huizhou architecture, and the natural and social conditions of its emergency. Then it'll describe the features of Hui-style architecture and how these features are shown in actual cases, with emphasis on the analysis of the special case of ancient city Huizhou. At last, it'll discuss about the meaning of studying Hui-style architecture.
