This class will take students into China and Beijing to inspire students' interest in this program. The first part is self introduction, letting students communicate with daily discourse and shortening the distance between teachers and students. The second part adopts the way of cultural contrast and guides students to know China by the beautiful scenery of Japan, letting them appreciate China's diverse cultural heritage. The third part takes the video as the introduction to bring the students to feel the ancient but modern Beijing. The last part introduces the concept of University for Nationalities through the characteristics of multi-nationalities in China. Then we will show students the overseas study life in MUC to present great charm of it. In addition to the cultural demonstration, the teacher will also combine the practice of language points, including evaluative description, sentence patterns, and paragraph building. There are two teaching objectives of this course : one is to arouse students' interest in this series of courses, the other is to introduce China and their own country in Chinese.
