Ruan is a traditional Chinese musical instrument. It is said that a man called Ruan Xian in the Western Jin Dynasty was good at playing this instrument, so this instrument got its name. It began in the Tang Dynasty and was widely spread among the people in the Yuan Dynasty. It became a popular plucked string instrument with a wide range and rich expressiveness. The Art of Ruan Music Course of "Chinese Bridge" Online Winter Camp for Belarusian Students is divided into two lectures. In the first lecture, the lecturer will introduce the historical origin, form, basic performance methods of Ruan Music and appreciate its representative works. In the second lecture, the lecturer will introduce the development of Ruan in modern times, the exchange of Ruan art between China and foreign countries, Ruan's various performance forms and the appreciation of modern style works. The course takes the form of combination of explanation and demonstration, practice and appreciation, so that students can feel the beauty of the voice of China and appreciate the classical charm.
