This course will give an introduction to basic knowledge about tea art, as well as methods and techniques of making several kinds of tea including green tea, black tea and dark green tea. By doing so, this course will be able to standardize scientific operational technique and harmonious spiritual ideas, coordinate and unify etiquette and manner and in the meantime have an organic integration of currently popular various tea arts and tea ceremonies, as well as systematically construct a Chinese tea ceremony with distinct traditional cultural feature. This course will adopt a comprehensive teaching method combining situational, heuristic and interactive teaching so that students will be able to perceive “the way to technique”, “the way to etiquette” and “the way to self-cultivation”. What's more, this course will help students to carry forward Chinese tea culture and spread tea science knowledge so that they can appreciate both the material and spiritual beauty of “Chinese Tea Ceremony".
