In this course - “Traditional Festivals”, we will not only explain the traditional festivals in China but also introduce the four most important festivals of the Han people. They are the Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Qingming Festival, and Dragon boat Festival. We will also introduce the minority ethnic groups' Water Splashing Festival, Torch Festival, and Nadaam Congress. In addition to displaying histories, myths, legends, and customs, we'll ensure everyone understands that Festivals are "important carriers" of the Chinese culture. Festivals and factors such as history, solar terms, culture, and beliefs are interconnected. They are part of the beautiful life of the Chinese people. They are also an entry point to the understanding of Han and other minority ethnic groups' civilization.
