2Chinese culture is broad and profound, and food culture is one of them. This course mainly introduces China's four seasons and food. We will be showing you food natives love to take in Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. In the north of China, the four seasons are very distinct, and each of them has food that fit their characteristics. Eating according to the season is an important part of Chinese food culture. This lesson describes six kinds of Chinese specialties: Spring cake, Sweet Green Rice Ball, Barbecue, Mooncake, Hot pot, and "Bingtanghulu"(Candied haws on a stick). It also introduces the food's production process and explains their cultural backgrounds.
