The course " takes calligraphic culture as the starting point, introduces the aesthetic origin of Chinese characters, the aesthetic rules of Chinese character art and the artistic expressions in practical use. This course also closely integrates the teaching of Chinese characters with the aesthetic education of calligraphic art through in-depth explanations and practical demonstrations. By teaching Chinese characters, Chinese language and culture are learnt in a relaxed and enjoyable cultural experience. The course lecturer has long been engaged in the integrated teaching of Chinese language and calligraphy in the Language Department of the United Nations Headquarters. He has been called by the eighth Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, "an ambassador for the international exchange of Chinese culture”.
