第十八届“汉语桥”世界大学生中文比赛多伦多领区决赛

“汉语桥”中文比赛旨在为学习汉语的青年学生提供一个展示汉语能力的舞台,创造一个相互学习和交流的平台,激励其学习汉语的热情和兴趣,增进对汉语和中华文化的理解。第十八届“汉语桥”世界大学生中文比赛多伦多领区决赛由中国驻多伦多总领馆主办,滑铁卢大学瑞纳森学院和滑铁卢孔子学院承办。现将有关事宜通知如下:

一、比赛主题

天下一家

二、比赛时间、地点

时间:2019年5月18日(星期六)10:00 —15:00

地点:Atrium, Renison University College, 240 Westmount Rd. North, 

Waterloo, ON, Canada. N2L 3G4 

三、参赛对象

驻多伦多总领馆领区(安大略省和曼尼托巴省,不含渥太华地区)高校具有非中国国籍、在中国境外出生并成长、母语为非汉语的在校生,年龄18岁至30岁。已获奖的上届赴华参加汉语桥决赛选手原则上不可连续两届参加比赛。

四、比赛内容

每位参赛选手比赛内容分为两部分:

1.演讲:内容紧扣活动主题,题目自拟,演讲时间不超过3分钟

2.才艺表演:音乐(含歌曲、器乐)、舞蹈、曲艺、杂技、书法、绘画、剪纸、武术等,表演时间不超过3分钟。

五、奖项设置

比赛设一等奖1名,二等奖2名,三等奖3名,优秀奖若干名。

中国驻多伦多总领馆教育组将根据获奖选手综合表现确定赴华参加世界汉语桥大学生中文比赛推荐人选。

六、报名程序

每位参赛选手需在2019年4月7日前向组委会提交参赛报名表,组委会将根据要求审核报名资格,对符合条件的参赛者发出参赛邀请,并请参赛者于5月5日前提交演讲稿及才艺表演主题和音乐等有关材料。

The 18th “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competition

Preliminary Competition - Toronto Final

The purpose of the “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competition is to provide a stage for young Chinese language learners to display their language proficiency, to create a platform for mutual learning and exchange, to stimulate students’ Chinese learning interest and enthusiasmand to promote Chinese language and the understanding of Chinese culture. The 18th “Chinese Bridge” competition Toronto Final is sponsored by the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Toronto and will be hosted by Renison University College of the University of Waterloo, and the Confucius Institute in Waterloo.

Competition Theme:

“One World, One Family”

Time & Location:

Date: May18, 2019, Saturday

Time: 10:00AM – 15:00PM

Venue: Atrium, Renison University College, 240 Westmount Rd. North, Waterloo, ON, Canada. N2L 3G4

Candidacy:

Contestants must be current university or college students in Ontario or Manitoba (Ottawa region excluded) between the age of 18 and 30,and of non-Chinese nationality, neither born nor raised in China, nor speaking Chinese as the first language. Finalists to the competition last year in China may notbe qualified to participate.

Contents

        ● Speech: Each candidate is required to give a speech for no more than 3 minutes based on the given theme. 

        ● Talent show: Each candidate is required to present a talent show related to Chinese culture for no more than 3 minutes, including singing Chinese songs, playing Chinese music, Chinese dance, Chinese opera, acrobatics, calligraphy, painting, paper-cutting, Kung Fu, etc..

Prizes:

One student for the First Prize, two forthe Second Prize, three forthe Third Prize, and several Awards of Excellence.

The Education Office, Chinese Consulate-General in Toronto will select winning contestants based on their overall performance in the competition to attend the semi-final and final rounds of the competition to be held in China.

Registration:

Students interested in attending the event are required tosubmitthe attached registration form before April 7toj65yang@uwaterloo.ca. Invitation letters will be issued to those considered qualified by the Organizing Committee and the students will be requested to submit speech script, talent show music and other supplementary materials before May 5.
