2025 "Chinese Bridge" Competition for Eastern United States Region 

为向在美学习中文的青少年提供展示中文水平和才艺能力的舞台，激发学生学习中文的兴趣热情，促进中文教学在美国健康发展，由中国驻纽约总领馆主办、华美协进社承办的2025年美东地区“汉语桥”大、中、小学生中文比赛正式启动，欢迎广大学习中文者踊跃报名参加。

To provide a platform for young Chinese language learners in the United States to showcase their proficiency and talents, ignite their interest and enthusiasm, and promote Chinese language education in the U.S., the 2025 “Chinese Bridge” Competition in the Eastern United States Region is officially launched for elementary school students, secondary school students, and college students. This event is organized by the Chinese Consulate General in New York and hosted by China Institute in America. We warmly welcome all eligible Chinese language learners to apply.

参赛对象 - Eligibility

美国在校大、中、小学生.

Applicants must currently enroll in an accredited school in the United States.

本人为美国国籍，且母语为非中文. 

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and have a native language other than Chinese.

常住地在中国驻纽约领馆辖区内（具体州别包括纽约、新泽西、宾夕法尼亚、俄亥俄、康涅狄格、罗德岛、马萨诸塞、佛蒙特、新罕布什尔、缅因）.

Applicants must currently reside in the Consular District of the Chinese Consulate General in New York, which includes New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island.

上届赴华参加总决赛的选手今年不再接受报名。

Students who attended the 2024 final "Chinese Bridge" global competition in China are NOT eligible to apply. 

比赛方式及奖励

Competition Format and Awards

本年度比赛分为大学生、中学生、小学生三组，由预赛和决赛构成。预赛通过线上报名及视频投稿方式进行，决算将以现场的方式在华美协进社进行。

This year’s competition consists of two rounds: the preliminaries and finals. It is divided into three groups: elementary school students, secondary school students, and college students, each with their own preliminary rounds and finals.

Applicants to the preliminary round must complete the information form and submit their videos online, and the final round will be held in-person at China Institute in America.

参加预、决赛的所有选手都将获得参赛证书。各组别决赛第一名的选手将获得代表美东地区赴中国参观访问及参加“汉语桥”全球总决赛的机会。

All preliminary and final rounds participants will receive a participation certificate. The first prize winners from each category will have the chance to participant in the 2025 “Chinese Bridge” global final competition in China, representing the Eastern United States Region.

预赛作品提交截至日期:2025年4月24日下午5点（美东时间）

Preliminary Round Deadline: 5 PM ET, Thursday, April 24, 2025

现场决赛日期：2025年5月17日（美东时间）

In-person Final Competition: Saturday, May 17, 2025
