第18届“汉语桥”世界中学生中文比赛维州预赛举办

近日，由中国驻墨尔本总领馆主办、维州中文教师协会、塔州中文教师协会分别承办的第18届“汉语桥”世界中学生中文比赛墨尔本赛区预赛在敦煌艺术中心、霍巴特高中成功举行。比赛以“追梦中文、不负韶华”为主题，吸引了来自维州、塔州16所中学的18位优秀选手踊跃参赛。我馆负责教育事务的参赞衔领事丁莉及领区评委、师生代表出席墨尔本赛区预赛活动。

选手们通过笔试、中文演讲和才艺展示等展现了他们对中文的热爱与对中华文化的理解。

丁莉在致辞中表示，希望更多青少年学好中文成为中澳交流合作的友好使者，共同推动两国人文交流持续向好发展。

比赛优胜选手将于5月31日上午9点参加在墨尔本举办的澳大利亚总决赛。

The 18th “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign Secondary School Students – Melbourne Preliminary Successfully Held

On May 16, 2025, the Melbourne preliminary round of the 18th “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign Secondary School Students was successfully held at the Dunhuang Arts Academy and Hobart College. The event was hosted by the Chinese Consulate-General in Melbourne and organized by the Chinese Language Teachers’ Association of Victoria and Tasmania. Centered on the theme “Fly High with Chinese”, the competition attracted 18 outstanding contestants from 16 secondary schools. Counsellor Ding Li (educational affairs), teachers and students representatives and judges attended the event.

Through writing test, prepared speeches and talent performances, the students demonstrated their strong passion for learning Chinese and their deep appreciation for Chinese culture. Counsellor Ding Li expressed her heartfelt hope that more young people would learn Chinese well and become friendly ambassadors, promoting long-term people-to-people ties and cultural exchange between the two countries.

Outstanding contestants will join the Australian National Final to be held at in Melbourne at 9am on May 31, competing with winners from across the country for a place in the global finals.
