第十八届“汉语桥”世界中学生中文比赛活动通知

The 18th Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition for Secondary School Students

一、比赛主题

中文主题： 追梦中文，不负韶华

英文主题： Fly high with Chinese

二、参赛对象

年龄12岁至18岁、加拿大国籍、在国外成长、本人及其父母母语非中文的外国在校中学生。Secondary school students aged 12 to 18, Canadian nationality, grew up out of China and whose (and their parents’) native language is not Chinese.

三、比赛内容

1.中文语言能力 Chinese language proficiency

中文听说读写能力和实际运用能力Chinese listening, speaking, reading, writing skills, and practical application ability.

2.中华文化技能 Chinese cultural skills

中国歌舞、传统器乐、书法、绘画、武术等Chinese songs/ dances, traditional Chinese musical instruments, calligraphy, painting, martial arts, etc.

四、比赛形式

3-5分钟围绕比赛主题的演讲视频 3-5 minutes’ speech video

3-5分钟才艺表演（如有）3-5 minutes’ talents show (optional)

五、比赛奖励和奖项

比赛设四个奖项：一等奖1名（价值200加元奖品），二等奖2名（每人获价值150加元奖品），三等奖3名（每人获价值100加元奖品），其他参赛者将获纪念奖。

There will be four prizes: 1 first prize ($200), 2 second prizes ($150 each), 3 third prizes ($100 each), and other participants will receive commemorative prizes

六、比赛安排

5月5日前将参赛视频和参赛选手信息简表发送邮箱：afterschoolchinese@hotmail.com.

5月下旬，组织渥太华赛区选手比赛，渥太华赛区可推荐1名优胜选手赴北京参加拟于8-9月进行的全球总决赛，每名选手可经授权配1名家长作为监护人陪同赴华。决赛阶段通过对选手中文水平和中华才艺展示等方面考核，遴选产生个人总冠军、洲冠军、一二三等奖、单项奖和优秀奖，所有获奖选手可获得赴华留学奖学金。

In late May, a competition for contestants from the Ottawa Division will be held. Ottawa Division can recommend one winning contestant to Beijing to participate in the global Finals planned to be held in August or September. Each contestant can be authorized to accompany one parent as a guardian to China. In the final stage, the final champion, the continental champion and the excellence award will be selected through the assessment of the contestants' Chinese proficiency and Chinese talent show. All the winners will be awarded a scholarship to study in China.
