I. Objectives

Launched by the organizing Committee of the 4th Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign Secondary School Students, the contest is aimed at encouraging participants to demonstrate their Chinese proficiency as well as sharing their Chinese-learning history, encouraging more Chinese learners to learn Chinese.

IV. Rules

A. Qualifications

All players qualified for taking part in the final competition at the 4th Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign Secondary School Students

B. Participatory Approaches

Through logging in official website blog through preliminary registration account, Players could upload log entries and pictures of unlimited number.

C. Work Requirements a. Blog post must be original; article content can be “my story with the Chinese bridge”as the theme. The style and number of words is of no limit. b. Pictures could be inserted at blog to show player’s Chinese-learning life and study.

V. Awards

Every player is eligible for the awards of Blog Popularity Contest At the 4th Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign Secondary School Students

A. Team Award

   a. Most Internet-Popular team Award: 1;

   b. Excellence Award for Internet-Popular team: 3;

B. Individual Award

   a. Most Internet-Popular Individual Award: 1;

   b. Excellence Award for Internet-Popular Individual: 3;

   c. Internet Popularity Award for the top 30, each winner will receive a digital photo-frame.

VI. Rules of Awards

A. Popularity ranking is based on the number of log entries and photo posted by the players and user-popularity number by the voter .The appropriate awards is produced according to the popularity ranking.

B. Points-earning Rules

Individual player points = number of blog articles ×100 + number of photos ×5 + user ballots；

 team points = total points got by the 3 team members；

 If a player uploads more than one entry in blog each day, he / she only gets 100 points for the extra entries; and if a player uploads more than twenty pictures in blog each day, he / she only gets 100 points for the extra pictures.
