Anyang Normal University (AYNU), founded in the year of 1908, is located in the city of Anyang, Henan province, one of the eight ancient capitals in China. Anyang is a national historical and cultural city, the birth place of the Book of Changes, the hometown of oracle-bone inscriptions and the Yin Ruins. The university offers 3 master programs and 64 undergraduate programs in 22 schools. There are more than 26,000 full-time students. AYNU pays special attention to the study of Yin-Shang culture and Oracle-bone Inscriptions. Oracle bone inscription is the source of Chinese characters. The cloud computing and the technology of big data is applied in the study of oracle bone inscription, which is approved as a key laboratory and an innovative team of Ministry of Education of China. Developed independently by AYNU, the Database of Oracle Bone Inscription is a data platform with the most complete, specific, and authoritative materials in the whole world, which is open free to the whole world. The university has always been focusing on the international exchange and cooperation. Cooperative relationship has been established with universities from USA, UK, Canada, Russia, Korea and Japan. AYNU is actively involved in enrolling overseas students to study Chinese language and sending volunteers to teach Chinese language in foreign countries.
