Zhengzhou Middle School(ZZMS) is authorized as an IB World School, and is awarded as Henan Model High School and Zhengzhou Internationally Characteristic School. ZZMS started in 1997 and is a modern public boarding school that combined junior and senior high education invested and established by the Zhengzhou Municipal Government and Administration Committee of Zhengzhou Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone on a high standard. From the beginning of its establishment, ZZMS has placed great emphasis on the development of international education. In 1998, ZZMS was appointed as the first host school of the Camp China in Henan Province; in 1999, it was authorized as the IB World School. ZZMS International Department was established in 2005 and ZZMS was awarded as Zhengzhou Internationally Characteristic School by Zhengzhou Education Bureau, since then the international education characteristic of ZZMS was initially formed. In 2017, the school was appointed as Zhengzhou International Understanding Model School. Over the past decade and more, the international education of ZZMS has already become one of the most resounding international education business cards in the Central Plains.
