Hohhot Vocational College is an old school with a historv of one hundred ears It grows out of Guisui Normal School which was founded in 1907 in the late Oing Dynasty when imperial examinations were abolished and schools revitalized. Guisui Normal school was the beginning of normal education in Hohhot.Hohhot Vocational College is a comprehensive higher vocational college directly subordinate to Hohhot government, and is the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region's High-Quality Higher Vocational College and Exemplary Higher Vocational College. Approved by the People's Government of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2002, 10 colleges merged in different stages to form Hohhot Vocational College.
呼和浩特职业学院是一所有着百年办学历史的老校，其源头可追溯到前清末季“废科举，兴学堂”的年代，即 1907 年的归绥师范学堂，是为呼和浩特地区师范教育之始。呼和浩特职业学院是呼和浩特市直属的一所综合类高等职业院校，学校于 2002 年经自治区人民政府批准，先后由 10 所院校合并组建成立，是自治区“优质高等职业院校”和“示范性高等职业院校”。
