Hebei University of Economics and Business is a key university in Hebei Province. It is a multidisciplinary financial university with economics, management and law as its main subjects, as well as philosophy, literature, science, engineering and art. The university was awarded the title of "National Greening Model Unit". The school attaches great importance to international exchange and cooperation, and has maintained long-term exchange and cooperation with institutions of higher education and other educational institutions in more than 50 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Australia and Korea. The university has achieved remarkable results in spreading Chinese culture and promoting the Chinese language, and has established two Confucius Institutes with Kathmandu University and the University of Zambia. The Confucius Institute at the University of Zambia and the Confucius Institute at Kathmandu University in Nepal were both awarded the title of "Advanced Confucius Institute", and the Confucius Institute at the University of Zambia was also awarded the title of "Global Model Confucius Institute". At the 19th Annual China International Education Conference, the university was awarded the 'One Belt, One Road' International Education Exchange Award.
