燕山大学校史陈列馆坐落于东校区图书馆二楼，全馆总建筑面积1500平方米，通过八个主题展厅，全面、真实、生动地再现了燕山大学百年奋进求索、曲折辉煌的办学历程。展览在反映学校发展历程的同时，将重点展示独立办学后熔铸在广大师生骨子里的“奋斗基因、工匠精神、卓越品质和家国情怀”演变形成的鲜明办学特色和传统，展示学校为国家、行业和地方发展做出的卓越贡献，展示积淀在校史深处的“厚德、博学、求是”校训内涵和“艰苦奋斗、严谨治学、求实创新”燕大精神。

（2）燕山大学图书馆

燕山大学图书馆主体面积近4.3万平方米，收藏有中外文图书130余万册，期刊2200余种，电子图书155万余种，网络数据库或平台70个（含子库205个），自建特色数据库8个，其中“重型机械数字图书馆”特色数据库得到国家教育部CALIS的资助。馆藏资源覆盖学校所有学科，形成了比较系统、完整的综合性藏书体系和资源服务体系。

（3）亚稳材料制备技术与科学国家重点实验室

亚稳材料制备技术与科学国家重点实验室拥有国家自然科学基金委优秀创新群体、教育部创新团队、国防科技创新团队和河北省“巨人计划”创新团队。 经过多年持续的投入，实验室已建成一个分析检测设备齐全，制备设备特色鲜明的科研平台。实验基地主要包括材料馆A、B、C楼，使用面积为1.4万平方米，以及亚稳材料制备中心，建筑面积3300平米，清洁纳米能源中心2000平米，高压科学研究中心8000平米。

（4）燕山大学工程训练中心 Yanshan University Engineering Training Center

燕山大学工程训练中心实训实习场地10000多平方米，仪器设备2500余台套，固定资产逾3000万元，承担全校所有专业的金工实习、电子工艺实习、电路、模拟电子技术、数字电子技术、电工电子技术、电工技术、电子技术、控制理论和大学计算机、计算机技术基础等相关实验实习课程及计算机系列实践校选修课。中心的设备、场地通过优化组合、合理配置，形成了“四个平台”，即普通加工、先进制造、信息化技术、电工电子技术四大实训平台的工程实践教学基地。

国家冷轧板带装备及工艺工程技术研究中心经国家科技部批准（2011年）建立，依托于燕山大学，是集基础研究、技术研发、工程转化、人才培养与信息交流等多种功能于一体的工程技术研究开发基地。
