学校自1965年起开始留学生教育事业，2005年7月国际汉学院成立，面向海内外专门进行国际中文教育和中国文化传播。学院师资水平、教学设施一流，课程设置齐全，教学方法科学，教学效果得到了国内外同行和学生的高度认可。

国际汉学院有两座教学楼，可容纳500名学生同时上课。内设15个多媒体教室、6个语音实验室、一个电脑终端室、藏书8000册的图书资料和阅览室、环境优美的会议室、学生休息室、文体活动室等。

The International School of Chinese Studies has two well-equipped classroom buildings  that can accommodate 500 students in class at the same time,There are 15 multimedia classrooms, 6 voice laboratories, a computer terminal room, a library and reading room with a collection of 8,000 books, a meeting room with a beautiful environment, a student lounge, a cultural and sports activity room, etc.

陕西师范大学位于古都西安，占地面积2800余亩，建有长安、雁塔两个校区，设有研究生院和22个学院（部），现有专任教师2010余人、全日制本科生18203人，研究生21501人，各类留学生598人。

2007年，陕西师范大学国际汉学院被国务院侨务办公室批准成为西北地区首个“华文教育基地”，现有专职教师29人，其中教授、副教授13人，讲师16人，具有博士学位教师23人，学术积淀深厚，教学经验丰富，为国际中文教育工作提供了有力的保障。

In 2007, the International School of Chinese Studies of Shaanxi Normal University was approved by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council as the first "Chinese education base" in Northwest China. 国际汉学院于2021年1月11日至2021年2月6日举办了“汉语桥”语言学习及文化特色线上团组交流项目，满足了海外青少年了解中国语言文化的需求和学习中文的热情，促进了海外青年学生对我国国情及我校情况的了解。

我校为留学生提供的住宿场所共有两处，分别是启夏苑校园宾馆和一号苑留学生公寓。内设独立卫生间、热水器、空调、衣柜、书桌等学习生活设施。此外，学生食堂、运动场、校医院、超市等分布四周，为留学生提供了方便舒适的生活条件。

There are two accommodation places provided by our school for international students, namely Qixiayuan Campus Hotel and International Student Dormitory. There are independent toilets, water heaters, air conditioners, wardrobes, desks and other learning and living facilities. In addition, student canteens, sports fields, school hospitals, supermarkets, etc. are distributed around, providing convenient and comfortable living conditions for international students.
