河南理工大学地处中华文明的发源地河南、陈式太极拳发祥地焦作，始建于1909年，是我国第一所矿业高等学府、河南省建立最早的高等学校。现有在校生4万余人、教职工3000余人, 拥有3个校区, 2个附属医院。  

Henan Polytechnic University (HPU) is located in Jiaozuo city, Henan Province, the cradle of Chen’s Tai Chi and Chinese civilization respectively. Established in 1909, HPU is the first mining higher institute and the earliest higher institute in Henan Province.There are now over 40,000 students and more than 3,000 faculty members studying and working at the three campuses and two afflicted hospitals of HPU.  

学校坚持实施“开放发展”战略，目前已与30多个国家和地区85所高校和科研机构建立友好合作关系，与国外知名大学合作举办4个教育部中外合作办学本科教育项目，建有5个国际联合实验室。学校已有近二十年的国际学生招收资格，现有来自27个国家的在校国际学生130余人。

As an international university, HPU has established a stable and cooperative relationship with 85 universities from more than 30 countries and regions. HPU has four sino-foreign educational programs accredited by the Ministry of Education of China with overseas universities and five international cooperative research platforms funded by the government of Henan Province. HPU started to accept international students about 20 years ago, and over 130 international students from 27 countries are now studying at HPU. 

学校依托“太极故里”地域优势，2010年学校成立了太极拳学院，着重发展太极拳学科，致力于推进太极拳与地域武术文化的传播推广、传承创新和发展。学校分别于2018年和2019年承办了“汉语桥”世界大学生中文比赛（河南段）和共建“一带一路”国家青年学生“汉语桥”夏令营（河南段），并于2022年2月举办了“知豫云上”汉语桥线上体验营，积累了丰富的活动组织经验。

Taking advantage of the location as the birthplace of Tai Chi, HPU established School of Taijiquan in 2010, aimed at the promotion, innovation and development of Tai Chi and local martial arts. HPU organized the 17th “Chinese Bridge”—Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students Summer Camp (Henan Province) in 2018, the “Chinese Bridge” Summer Camp for Youths of the Belt and Road Initiative Partner Countries (Henan Province) in 2019 and the “Chinese Bridge” Online Program—Meet Henan Online Camp in February 2022, which makes HPU capable of organizing such activities.

云台山风景区，位于河南省焦作市修武县境内，距离焦作市区30公里 ，总面积280平方千米，是一处以太行山岳水景为特色，以峡谷类地质地貌景观和历史文化为内涵，集科学价值和美学价值于一身的科普生态旅游景区,是联合国教科文组织评选的全球首批世界地质公园，国家AAAAA级旅游景区。

Yuntai Mountain, located in Xiuwu County, Jiaozuo City, is 30 kilometers away from the urban area of Jiaozuo, with a total area of 280 square kilometers. It is a popular science eco-tourism scenic spot characterized by Taihang Mountain waterscape, canyon geological landscape and historical culture, with both scientific and aesthetic values. It is one of the earliest world geoparks nominated by UNESCO and a national AAAAA tourist attraction.

太极故里陈家沟位于河南焦作温县，距焦作市区35公里，这里是黄河与洛河交汇处，孕育出了太极阴阳文化，诞生了风靡世界的武术精粹——太极拳。

Chenjiagou, the birthplace of Tai Chi, is located in Wen County, Jiaozuo, 35 kilometers away from the urban area of Jiaozuo. It is the intersection of the Yellow River and the Luohe River, where the yin-yang culture of Tai Chi and the world famous martial arts– Tai Chi were bred. 

河南理工大学培训服务中心为服务校内科研、培训、学术交流提供住宿服务，设有豪华套房、豪华大床房、豪华标准间、舒适标准间等各种房型，共计174间，313张床位，拥有中央空调、无线网络、洗浴热水、网络电视等设施，会议设施齐全。

The Training Service Center of HPU provides accommodation services for research, training and academic exchanges at HPU.It has 313 beds in 174 rooms equipped with central air-conditioning, WiFi, hot shower water and cable TV, etc., ranging from deluxe suite, deluxe double bed, deluxe standard room to comfortable standard room. The center also has full facility for conferences.
