Since 2011, BICC has undertaken 18 "Chinese Bridge - Summer Camp for Foreign Students”. We have carefully arranged the courses and activities for each summer camp project. Since 2019, we have opened the themed camp of "Exploring the Secrets of Chinese Characters", which is deeply loved by the students. The students were very satisfied with our arrangements. Through the questionnaire, we also learned that the most popular offline activities for students was the home visit of Chinese family.
自2011年开始，我院共承办了18期“汉语桥”——外国学生夏令营项目。每期夏令营项目我们都对课程和活动做了精心安排，从2019年开始，我们开设了“汉字探秘”主题营，深受学员喜爱。学员对我们的安排都非常满意，通过问卷方式，我们也了解到，线下活动中，最受学生欢迎的是中国家庭访问日活动。
Since 2020, affected by the epidemic, our programs has been held online. We still insist on teaching students with different levels online, which is divided into classes for beginners, junior learners, intermediate learners and advanced learners. In order to strengthen the practicality of the courses, some targeted measures have been taken. Firstly, Chinese language courses have been divided into comprehensive courses and oral courses; secondly, the teachers will assign and check homework every day and give feedback to students in time; thirdly is to organize the Chinese talent contest and the "My Favorite Chinese Characters" speech contest. Students can know more about each other and enhance their personal feelings with students from other countries, which is conducive to the cultivation of friendship.
2020年开始，受疫情影响，项目转为线上举行。线上教学我们仍坚持分层教学，特别针对学生学习情况分为零起点班、初级班、中级班和高级班等。为加强课程实践性，中文课采取了一些针对性措施，一是分成综合课和口语课分课型授课；二是每天布置和检查作业，及时给学生反馈；三是组织中华才艺大赛和“我喜爱的汉字”演讲比赛，学生普遍通过这种形式更了解了班级里的其他学生、增进了与班级同学的感情，有利于线上班级情感的培养。

Since 2020, BICC has been developing a series of courses which are suitable for online teaching, including E-tour on Beijing, the Forbidden City, Winter Olympic, Hutong, as well as Interactive Learning Center of Chinese Characters (ILCCC). etc. This series of courses are recorded on the spot, our teacher take you around like a tour guide and conduct corresponding culture and knowledge teaching, so as to create an immersive learning environment for learners and enhance the interest of learning. This experiential teaching method is novel and the learning effect is excellent.
