KUST currently has four campuses: Chenggong, Lianhua, Xinying, and Songming, covering an area of 5,418 acres and having teaching facilities of 866,000 square meters. Each campus has International Students Office, which provides high-quality services for international students in Kunming, and fully meets the requirements of international students studying in Kunming. KUST has a smart campus system, a beautiful environment, and a strong learning atmosphere. 自2011年以来，昆明理工大学受外交部、教育部等国家各级政府委托，先后承接高端访问、夏令营、培训团组80余个，参访人数接近4700人，积累了丰富的接待与培训经验。连续五年承办老挝北部九省经济发展规划技术人员培训项目、“大湄公河次区域国家改革管理”培训班，代表中国高校承办11国青年代表参加的中国东盟青年营，承办中国-孟加拉“一带一路”智库建设项目汉语教学培训；承办西班牙、法国、意大利、新加坡等国家外国留学生冬、夏令营团组，受到新闻联播等媒体的广泛关注。参加培训或访问项目的成员中既有在本国担任政府要职的高级官员,也有对中国文化心生向往的外国青年。我校受到各级政府部门的赞许，参访学员对我们的行程安排都非常满意。大部分学员反馈希望在疫情结束后再次访问我校。

Since 2011, KUST has been entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and other national governments at all levels, and has successively undertaken more than 80 high-end visits, summer camps, and training groups, and received nearly 4,700 visitors, accumulating rich experiences of reception and training. Undertook “The Training Project for Economic Development Planning and Technical Personnel in Nine Provinces in Northern Laos”for five consecutive years. Organized the training course on “National Reform Management in the Greater Mekong Sub-region”. On behalf of Chinese colleges and universities, hosted the China-ASEAN Youth Camp attended by youth representatives from 11 countries. Undertook the Chinese language teaching training for the “China-Bangladesh ‘Belt and Road’ Think Tank Construction Project”. Undertook the summer camp groups for foreign students from Spain, France, Italy, Singapore and other countries, and received extensive attention from the News Network and other media. The members participating in the training or visiting programs include senior officials who hold important government positions in their own countries, as well as foreign youths who yearn for Chinese culture. KUST has been praised by government departments at all levels, and the visiting students are very satisfied with our itinerary. Some colleges have responded that they hope to visit KUST again after the pandemic.

自2020年开始，受疫情影响，各类交流互访项目均采用线上论坛、云访问等方式进行。学校为语言生开设了零起点、初级、中级和高级班，专门配备了留学生班主任、建立沟通机制，及时掌握境外学员的动态。学员坚持每天打卡，教师检查和布置作业，注重情感培养，关心学员身心健康，进一步加强了同各国学员之间的联系。

Since 2020, affected by the epidemic, various exchange and mutual visits have been conducted through Online Forums and “Cloud Visits”. KUST has divided into classes for beginners, junior learners, intermediate learners and advanced learners. Specially equipped with head teachers for international students, establish a communication mechanism, and timely grasped the dynamics of overseas students. The students insisted on clocking in every day. The teachers will check and assign homework, focusing on emotional development, caring about the physical and mental health of the trainees, and further strengthening the connection with students from all over the world.

学校拥有一支教学技术过硬的教师团队，89%的教师具有海外经历，毕业于北京外国语大学、北京语言大学、中国人民大学等学校的汉语国际教育专业，具备丰富的国际中文教学经验。我校汉语国际教育专业是省级一流专业，学科基础扎实、学缘结构较好。通过多年的建设和实践，形成了一套规范的、行之有效的中文课程授课体系，在行业内逐渐形成了自身的特色和影响力。

KUST has a team of teachers with excellent teaching skills. 89% of the teachers have overseas experience. They graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University, Beijing Language and Culture University, Renmin University of China and other famous universities majoring in Chinese International Education, with rich experience in Chinese language teaching. The discipline of Chinese International Education in KUST is a first-class professional construction site at the provincial level, with a solid academic foundation and a good academic relationship structure. Through years of deep cultivation and teaching practice, a standardized and effective Chinese curriculum system has been formed, which has gradually formed its own characteristics and influence in the industry.

昆明理工大学现有呈贡、莲华、新迎、嵩明四个校区，占地5418亩，拥有教学资源86.6万平米。四校区均设有多个教学区、办公区、留学生和青年教师公寓等功能区，为各国留学生提供学习和生活便利，可满足100人的会议、50人的大班，6-10人的小班教学和一对一教学。学校提供七层开放式图书馆借阅系统，集合国内外图书300万册；计算中心实验室和语音实验室可满足400人同时进行HSK考试以及外国留学生使用电脑的要求。学校呈贡校区留学生公寓共有单人、双人间共200间，配有洗衣设备，设有多个主题餐厅；莲华校区文汇酒店设有准五星级标准客房213间、中、西餐厅2个、宴会厅、会议室、活动室若干间。可以满足外国校长、官员团组来华访问项目、外国专家学者团组访问和冬夏令营项目的住宿要求。此外，学校还设有各类咖啡厅，水吧、休息室内及各类运动场地。

It can meet 100 people’s meeting, 50 people’s classes, 6-10 people’s classes and one-to-one VIP classroom. KUST provides a “Seven-story Open Library Lending System”, which collects 3 million books at home and abroad; the computing center laboratory and the voice laboratory can meet the requirements of 400 people conducting the HSK test at the same time and foreign students using computers. There are 200 single and double rooms in the International Student Dormitory on Chenggong campus, equipped with laundry facilities and multiple theme restaurants; Wenhui Hotel on Lianhua Campus has 213 quasi-five-star standard rooms, 2 restaurants, and banquet halls and several meeting rooms. It can meet the accommodation requirements of foreign principals, official groups visiting China, foreign experts and scholars visiting projects, and winter and summer camp projects. In addition, KUST also has various cafes, water bars, lounges and various sports facilities.
