浙江财经大学成立于1974年，具有博士、硕士、学士学位授予权和外国留学生、港澳台学生招生权，现有在校普通全日制学生17000余人（不含独立学院），在校教职工1700余人，占地2300亩。为国际学生提供12个本科项目，17个研究生项目。2021年9月2日，泰晤士高等教育（Times Higher Education）公布了2022年泰晤士高等教育世界大学排名（Times Higher Education World Reputation Ranking），学校首次进入该榜单，位列全球 801-1000 位区间。

Founded in 1974, Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics (ZUFE) offers programs at different levels, including bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs. The university has a full-time student population of over 17,000, a high level faculty and staff of 1700, with an area of 378 acres. It also provides 12 undergraduate-level programs and 17 graduate-level programs for international students. ZUFE ranks 801-1000 of 2022 Times Higher Education World University Rankings and excels in Social Sciences and Business and Economics, ranking 301-400 and 501-600 respectively. Applied Economics and Statistics both rank 15th in National Discipline Ranking.

学校坚持把开放办学作为桥梁纽带，不断深化国际交流与合作。学校已与33个国家和地区的137所高校建立良好的校际关系，开展教师互派、学生互换、科研合作等国际交流。留学生数量逐年增长，先后有70余个国家和地区的留学生来校学习。

WenHua Academy has been set up to strengthen characteristic education on Chinese culture, and all sorts of Chinese cultural activities are a regular part of the campus life. These programs have extremely close connections with more than 30 outstanding enterprises such as Alibaba, which help provide enough internship opportunities for international students.

Since 2002, ZUFE has successively undertaken kinds of delegations of teachers and students from many overseas universities such as University of Cambridge in UK, Rennes School of Business in France, and Eurasian University in Kazakhstan. We have carefully arranged activities for each visiting delegation, which are highly appreciated by teachers and students. At the same time, we also learned that the most popular offline activities for them was to visit local museums and to experience the Jiangnan culture by themselves.

自2002年开始，我校陆续接待英国剑桥大学、法国雷恩商学院、哈萨克斯坦欧亚大学等数十所海外高校的教师和学生团体。我们对每次来访的代表团做了精心活动安排，深受师生的好评。同时，我们也了解到，走访体验江南文化特色的博物馆活动非常受师生欢迎。

Since 2020, affected by the epidemic, ZUFE has undertaken 2 “Chinese Bridge-Online Winter Camp for Foreign Students”. We have opened the themed camp of “Dream Trip in Zhejiang” and the camp of “Jiangnan Culture and Contemporary Zhejiang”, which were deeply loved by the students. The students were very satisfied with our arrangements.

2020年开始，因疫情影响，我校承办了两期汉语桥-外国学生线上冬令营活动，我们开设的以“梦行浙江”、“江南文化与当代浙江”为主题的冬令营深受学员喜爱，学员们对我们的安排十分满意。

We insist on "small-sized class platform video teaching" for online teaching, which is divided into ABC three classes. Each class is equipped with a head teacher and a lecturer who provide the online interactive feedback, answer the questions and doubts. The implementation of "Fun+ interactive +experiential" language and culture teaching provides students with an immersive language learning environment, especially the activity of "Amazing Talent Show", which adheres to the principle of"learning by doing " presents students the results of their own learning.

ZUFE has a team of teachers with excellent teaching skills, interdisciplinary background and overseas study experience. Nearly 70% of the teachers are doctors who graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University, Zhejiang University and other famous schools. The average teaching age of the team is more than 18 years, and they have rich teaching experience. The courses of Chinese Culture and Comprehensive for international students, have both been awarded the provincial-level international first-level courses. ZUFE has formed a relatively standardized and efficient curriculum system and relevant featured courses in the teaching of Chinese language and culture courses.

ZUFE拥有一支教学技术过硬、跨学科以及海外留学经历的教师团队，近70%的教师为博士毕业于北京外国语大学、浙江大学等名校，团队平均教学年龄在18年以上，拥有丰富的教学经验。留学生的中国文化类课程Chinese Culture 和汉语类课程《汉语综合》均获省级国际一流课程，因此，在教学方面已形成比较规范、高效的课程体系和相关特色课程。

ZUFE currently has 4 campuses in Xiasha, Wenhua, Cuiyuan and Chang'an, covering an area of 2,300 acres and a total construction area of 570,600 square meters. The Xiasha campus is located on the bank of the beautiful Qiantang River, in the university town, with convenient transportation for study and life. There are 378 classrooms in the campus, of which 248 are multimedia classrooms. The ZUFE Library, covering an area of 8.66 acres, provides 3060 seats and 20 learning & communication spaces, involving reading rooms, information sharing spaces, book bars and so on.Moreover, the University has set up 5 featured libraries, which are the Library of Nobel Prize Collections in Economics authorized by the Nobel Foundation, the Library of Sun Yefang Economics Science Prize, the Library of Government Regulation, the Library of ZUFE Faculty Collections, and the Library of Classic Collections of Academic Disciplines. The school's economics and management experimental teaching center has a construction area of more than 3,000 square meters, 11 experimental teaching centers, and 77 laboratories, of which 4 are provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers，which meet the requirements of foreign officials'projects in China, foreign local Chinese teachers' projects in China and summer/winter camp projects. In addition, there are 100 rooms of apartment with single rooms, double rooms and other types of rooms, as well as cafes, lounges, swimming pools, indoor and outdoor sports halls and other facilities.

学校现有下沙、文华、翠苑和长安4个校区，占地2300亩，总建筑面积57.06万平方米。下沙校区位于风景优美的钱塘江畔，大学城内，学习生活交通便利。该校区内共有教室378间，其中248间为多媒体教室。学校图书馆面积35053平方米，有阅览室、信息共享空间、特色文献馆、书库、书吧等各类学习交流场所20个，座位3060个。自建有诺贝尔经济学奖文献馆、孙冶方经济科学奖文献馆、政府管制文献馆、浙财文库、专业经典阅读文库等5个特色库。学校的经济与管理实验教学中心建筑面积3000余平方，11个实验教学中心，下设77个实验室，其中4个为省级实验教学示范中心，可以满足外国官员来华项目、外国本土汉语教师来华项目及夏/冬令营的使用需求。此外，学校公寓有100间，有单人间，双人间等不同规格，还有咖啡厅、休息室、游泳馆、室内外运动馆等设施。
