Southwestern University of Finance and Economics is located in Chengdu, a famous historical and cultural city in China, the "Land of Abundance"，which has 2 international airports and 126 international air routes. SWUFE has two campuses, Guanghua and Liulin, covering an area of more than 380 acres. It is the famous “garden-style " campus. SWUFE has built a total of 384 multimedia classrooms, and certain amphitheater classrooms, multi-functional conference halls equipped with multi-screen and high-end audio configuration, smart classrooms equipped with advanced recording and broadcasting systems and high-definition cameras, which can better realize resource sharing and learning through the network. The Western Teaching Building is a teaching site specially set up for Chinese language teaching for international students., with the HSK Examination Center inside, which is very convenient for international students to study and take exams.

SWUFE has also set up the "Chinese Show", the "English Corner" and the Foreign Language Training Center, providing good sites for Chinese and foreign students to learn language and cultural exchanges. The total area of school sports venues reaches 175,650.36 square meters, with an average student area of 7.77 square meters, covering standard athletic arenas, football fields, basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts and badminton courts. There are 2 standard swimming pool qualified for large-scale competitions，2 comprehensive gymnasiums qualified for national large or small competitions for ball games, gymnastics, aerobics, martial arts, sports dance，etc. The newly built Quality Development Base and Real CS Base can contain outdoor trainings for 100 people at a time. Bilingual signs have been set up on campus roads, teaching areas, buildings and key public facilities, creating an international campus environment in an all-round way, which benefits international students in their study and life.

学校还设立了“汉语秀”、“英语角”及外语培训中心，为中外学生语言学习和文化交流提供了良好便利。学校体育场馆总面积达到175650.36平方米，生均面积7.77平方米，涵盖标准田径运动场、足球场、篮球场、排球场、网球场和羽毛球等各类场地，设有2个可用于大型比赛的标准游泳池， 2个可用于全国性的大小球类、体操、健美操、武术、体育舞蹈等项比赛的综合体育馆。新建素质拓展基地和真人CS基地，可一次对100人进行户外培训。校园道路、教学区域和楼宇、重点公共设施设置了双语标识，全方位营造国际化校园环境，方便了国际学生的学习生活。

留学生夏令营

Southwestern University of Finance and Economics has rich experience in hosting and undertaking online and offline "Chinese +" programs. It has undertaken many offline summer camps for international students from Washington State University, University of Florida, Deakin University in Australia, and Ryugu University in Japan, etc. The influence of the SWUFE brand program, Global Academy, has been continuously enhanced. SWUFE actively carries out the application and research of online Chinese education after COVID-19, enriching the online course library, focusing on the four themes of language learning, cultural characteristics, contemporary China, and business knowledge, and creating teaching resources in the new era. The online courses issued by SWUFE, Business Visit, Chengdu-Ancient Shu, Breath of Life and Sense of Modern and other 5 courses were selected into the high-quality teaching resources of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation and were approved to translate in 5 languages. SWUFE undertakes several “Chinese Bridge”Delegation Online Programs, the International Chinese Teachers Scholarship Programs and other national key advantageous programs, which has accumulated more than 1,500 international students. SWUFE has set up a special group for "Chinese Bridge" to plan such as publicity and enrollment, curriculum setting, etc., and organize a volunteer team to overcome problems such as time difference, communication, and IT.

SWUFE has built dorms for international students on two campuses respectively. As of December 2021, the two campuses have a total of 483 beds. All the dormitories for international students are set up as air-conditioned single rooms (including independent bathrooms) to meet the special needs of international students. Each floor of the dorm building is equipped with a communal kitchen and a lounge, with hot water and campus cable access. Wooden floors are laid in the dorm rooms, non-slip PVC rubber floors are laid on the corridors, and 24-hour surveillance is installed in public areas to ensure the safety of international students in China. Each dorm is managed by hotel-style room card, on the principle of “one person, one room, one card”. There are basketball courts, tennis courts and other sports venues near the dorm. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the teaching building, laundry, school hospital, student canteen, library, gymnasium, subway station and bus station. There are a number of supermarkets and beverage shops on campus, which is convenient for international students to enjoy their study and life in campus.

学校分别在两个校区为留学生建设有留学生专用公寓。截至2021年12月，两校区总床位数483张。留学生公寓全部为配置空调的单人间（含独立卫生间），以满足留学生的特殊需求。公寓楼内每层配置有一间公共厨房和一间休闲室，提供热水和校园光纤接入。公寓房间内铺设木地板，楼道铺设防滑PVC胶地板，且公共区域皆安装有24小时监控，以确保来华留学生的住宿安全。每间公寓都采用酒店式房卡管理，一人一房一卡。公寓附近有篮球场、网球场等运动场地，步行至教学楼、洗涤部、校医院、学生食堂、图书馆、体育馆、地铁站和公交车站等都在十五分钟内。校内开设多家超市和小卖部，大大的便利了留学生在校学习和生活。
