苏州健雄职业技术学院是2004年7月经江苏省人民政府批准建立的公办全日制高等职业院校，位于苏州市太仓市，是以出生于太仓的世界核物理学家吴健雄博士的名字命名。学校所在区域经济发达、社会繁荣、交通便捷、环境优美，是郑和七下西洋的起锚地、江南丝竹的发源地和娄东文化的发祥地，素有“锦绣江南金太仓”之美誉。学校坚持“深耕太仓、深化双元、深入创新、深得人心”办学思路，打造区域经济社会发展的“人才仓、技术仓、服务仓”，努力办好人民满意的高职教育。

随着我国在全球的崛起和国际地位的提升，汉语作为一门重要的国际语言越来越受到世界各地学习者的关注。为满足国际学生的学习需求，提高中国职业技术教育的国际影响力，我校基于所处地域深厚的江南文化底蕴基础，积极开展国际中文教育工作，为国际学生提供了丰富多彩的中文学习体验。

我校积极开展国际学术合作与交流，实施开放办学拓展工程，搭建海外交流平台，工作成绩斐然。我们与多个国际合作伙伴签署合作协议，开展学生互换项目、教师交流等活动。这些合作项目为学生提供了赴中国学习的机会，也为我校的国际中文教育工作带来了新的发展机遇。2022年，招收并录取印度尼西亚籍汉语言留学生11名。2023年度共招收20名外国留学生，累计组织中国传统文化体验、中外学生交流、社团文体活动等留学生活动20余次。先后参与的中外学生达320余人，让留学生感知、热爱中华文化，培养多元化中国文化传播使者。为帮助留学生更好地了解中国文化、适应校园生活，国际交流处牵头成立了服务志愿者队，与留学生定期开展书法学习、讲座交流等文化实践交流活动。我校打造了留学生培养特色路径，开创了留学江苏健雄特色。

我校国际中文教育工作致力于为国际学生提供优质的中文学习环境和丰富的文化体验。通过不断的改进和发展，我们将继续为更多国际学生打开通向中国文化和传统技艺教育的大门，促进文化交流与友谊的深入发展，为推动我国在国际舞台上的发展贡献力量。

Suzhou Chien-Shiung Institute of Technology, founded in July 2004 with the approval of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, is a public full-time higher vocational institution located in Taicang, Suzhou. It is named after Dr. Chien-shiung Wu, the world-famous nuclear physicist born in Taicang. The area where the college is located is economically developed, socially prosperous, with convenient transportation and beautiful environment. It is the anchor place of Zheng He's seven voyages to the West Ocean, the birthplace of Jiangnan silk and bamboo, and the birthplace of Loudong culture, and it is known as "Golden Taicang in the Embroidered Jiangnan". The college adheres to the educational philosophy of "service Taicang social development, deepen the dual system of personnel training, in-depth innovation, in-depth people's hearts". It aims to build a "talent warehouse, technology warehouse, and service warehouse" for the regional economic and social development, striving to provide satisfactory higher vocational education for the people.

With the rise of China in the world and the improvement of its international status, Chinese, as an important international language, is getting more and more attention from learners all over the world. In order to meet the learning needs of international students and to enhance the international influence of Chinese vocational and technical education, our college, based on the profound cultural heritage of the southern region, has actively engaged in international Chinese education, and has provided international students with a rich and colorful Chinese learning experience. Our college has been actively carrying out international academic cooperation and exchanges, implementing the Open School Expansion Project, and building overseas exchange platforms, and our work has been remarkable. We have signed cooperation agreements with a number of international partners to carry out student exchange programs, teacher exchanges and other activities.

These cooperation programs provide students with opportunities to study in China, and bring new development opportunities for our international Chinese education work. In 2022, 11 Chinese language international students from Indonesia were recruited and admitted. In 2023, a total of 20 foreign students were recruited, and more than 20 international student activities were organized, such as traditional Chinese culture experience, Chinese and foreign student exchanges, and clubs' cultural and sports activities. More than 320 Chinese and foreign students have participated in these activities, which enable international students to perceive and love Chinese culture, and cultivate diversified Chinese culture disseminators. In order to help international students better understand Chinese culture and adapt to campus life, the Office of International Exchange initiated the establishment of a service volunteer team, which regularly conducts cultural and practical exchange activities with international students, such as calligraphy study and lecture exchange. Our college has created a characteristic path for the cultivation of international students and pioneered the unique characteristics of studying at Jiangsu Chien-Shiung.

Our international Chinese education is committed to providing international students with a high-quality Chinese learning environment and enriching cultural experiences. Through continuous improvement and development, we will continue to open the door to Chinese culture and traditional skills education for more international students, promote deeper development of cultural exchanges and friendship, and contribute to the promotion of our country's development on the international stage.
