济南护理职业学院前身为山东省济南卫生学校，成立于1953年，是新中国成立后首批国办中等卫生学校。2011年3月由山东省人民政府批准、教育部备案，学校升格为专科层次的国办高校。学院环境优美、一步一景，占地600余亩。总建筑面积19万平方米。    

建有图文信息大楼、实训中心、大健康技术技能产教融合实训基地等完备的基础设施，并配有先进的虚拟仿真实训室、多媒体教室及实验实训室等。

大健康技术技能产教融合实训基地

学院开设护理、药学、中药学、针灸推拿（国家控制高职（专科）专业）、康复治疗技术、中医康复技术等17个专科专业和1个五年一贯制高职专业。

其中护理、药学专业是教育部、财政部确定的中央财政“支持高等职业学校提升专业服务产业发展能力”重点专业建设项目，护理专业是“山东省高等职业学校特色专业建设点”。

护理、药学专业群教学团队是省级优秀教学团队，护理康养专业群获省教育厅高水平专业群建设三年度2000万元资金支持。

康复治疗技术专业是山东省“3+2”对口贯通培养本科专业。

学院师资力量雄厚。坚持“开门办学、开放办教育”理念，充分利用省会城市人才资源优势，密切与各大院校、医院、企业和科研院所合作，建立了一支专兼结合的高水平师资队伍。现有教职工467人，正高级职称26人，副高级职称113人，具有硕士、博士以上学历或学位者181人。

学院深入实施“走出去”战略。在与韩国信韩大学共同举办中韩合作医学影像技术专业专科项目基础上，以涉外护理教学改革试验田，组建涉外英护班、日护班，不断开拓与加拿大、日本等国家和地区的办学合作路径，积极打造“立足济南、辐射全国、走向世界”的国际特色品牌。

建校80多年来，学院本着“保证质量，优势发展”原则，生源质量稳步提升。现有在校生7000余人，生源遍布全国15个省、市、自治区。在校生职业技能鉴定通过率达到100%，学生护士执业资格考试通过率达到95%。百余名师生在全国、省、市技能大赛中斩获个人或团体奖项。先后培养优秀毕业生10万余名，毕业生适应性强，专业技术扎实，深受用人单位欢迎，就业率高达95%。优秀人才遍及全国医药卫生行业企业。

学院近年来先后荣获全国职业教育百强院校、全国涉外护理先进单位、山东省最具就业竞争力高职院校、省最具专业特色高职院校等近三十项荣誉。

Founded in 1953, Jinan Vocational College of Nursing, formerly known as Jinan Health School, was the first batch of state-run secondary health schools after the founding of PRC.

In March 2011, the college was upgraded to a state-run university at the junior college level approved by the Shandong Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education of PRC.

The college has a beautiful environment and covers an area of more than 600 mu. The total construction area is 190,000 square meters. 

There are complete infrastructures such as the graphic information building, the training center, and the training base for the integration of production, teaching and learning of big health technology skills,and it is equipped with advanced virtual simulation training rooms, multimedia classrooms and experimental training rooms.

The college offers 17 specialties such as nursing, pharmacy, traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage (national controlled higher vocational (specialist) specialty), rehabilitation therapy technology and rehabilitation technology of traditional Chinese medicine, and a five-year compulsory higher vocational specialty.

Among them, nursing and pharmacy are the key professional construction projects of "supporting higher vocational schools to improve the development ability of professional service industry" determined by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance, and nursing specialty is "the construction point of characteristic specialty of higher vocational schools in Shandong Province".

The teaching team of nursing and pharmacy specialty group is an excellent teaching team at the provincial level, and the nursing and rehabilitation specialty group is supported by 20 million yuan for three years in the construction of high-level specialty group of the Provincial Department of Education.

  Rehabilitation technology specialty is a "3+2" undergraduate specialty in Shandong Province.

The college has a strong faculty. Adhering to the concept of "open school, open education", making full use of the advantages of human resources in provincial capital cities, and cooperating closely with major universities, hospitals, enterprises and scientific research institutes, the college has established a high-level teaching staff with full-time and part-time combination. At present, there are 467 faculty members, 26 with senior professional titles, 113 with deputy senior professional titles, and 181 with master's degree, doctor's degree or above.

The College has implemented the strategy of "going out" in depth. The college has jointly organized cooperative medical imaging technology specialty project with Xinhan University of South Korea. The college has also set up foreign-related English nursing classes and Japanese nursing classes in the experimental field of foreign-related nursing teaching reform. The college has been constantly exploring ways of running schools with Canada, Japan and other countries and regions, and actively building an international brand with "based in Jinan, radiating the whole country and going global".

Since its establishment more than 80 years ago, the college has steadily improved the quality of students based on the principle of "ensuring quality and developing with advantages". 

At present, there are more than 7,000 students on campus from 15 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions all over the country. The passing rate of students' vocational skills appraisal reached 100%,and the passing rate of student nurse qualification examination reached 95%. 

More than 100 teachers and students won individual or group awards in national, provincial and municipal skill competitions.

More than 100,000 outstanding graduates have been trained successively, with strong adaptability and solid professional skills, which are well received by employers. The employment rate is as high as 95%. Excellent talents spread all over the medical and health enterprises in China.

In recent years, the college has won nearly 30 honors, including the National Top 100 Vocational Education Colleges, the National Advanced Foreign Nursing Unit, the most competitive vocational colleges in Shandong Province, and the most professional vocational colleges in Shandong Province.
