山东传媒职业学院是经山东省人民政府批准成立、教育部备案的全日制普通高等专科学校，隶属于山东省广播电视局，与省教育厅共管，是一所广播影视及大众传媒类公办普通高校。

学院主校区地处山东省济南市经十东路，占地面积近千亩。学院现有29个专业，面向全国15个省份招生。专业涵盖广播影视及新媒体的传播、制作、艺术、技术等领域，形成了以广播影视节目制作专业群、新闻传播专业群、广播电视技术专业群为骨干的“三足鼎立式”专业群建设格局。

学院先后获得“全省广播电视系统先进集体”、“省级文明单位”、“平安建设先进基层单位”等称号。在《大众日报》、《齐鲁晚报》等新闻媒体组织的“山东教育总评榜”活动中，学院荣获“最具专业特色院校”和“就业前景十佳院校”。

学院注重与广播影视及文化传媒行业的发展相结合，建立了包含山东电视台在内的近200家校外教学科研实践基地，与部分地方广播电视台建立了战略合作关系，为学生实习实训和就业提供优越条件。学院设有专门的就业机构，连续几年一次性就业率都保持在95％以上的较高水平。

学院具有完善的教学设施设备，除建有教学楼、宿舍楼、实验楼、图书馆、实训中心、演播中心外，还配有形体训练房、健身房、摄影棚、微机室、多媒体教室、语音室、播音小课教室、电子阅览室等。

学院设有省级普通话水平测试站、广播电视系统特有工种职业技能鉴定站、新闻出版系统特有工种职业技能鉴定站。校内教学实训中心专业设施设备主要有数字视频非编作站机房、视频线性对编机房、 EDIUS 视频非线性编辑机房、苹果后期包装机房、二维动画实验室、三维动画实验室、600平方米高清综合演播室、200平方米训练演播室、100平方米虚拟演播室、200平方米摄影棚、标准暗室、标准播音小教室、播音上镜综合训练室、数字视听实训室、电子组装实训室、广播影视设备维修维护实训室、有线电视实训室、计算机网络实训室、电视发送与卫星发送实训室等，为全院师生提供了科研、实验教学及实训场地。

学院师资力量雄厚，既有一批具有丰富广播电视从业实践经验的专业课教师，又有一批多年从事专业技术教育并取得一定成果的基础课教师，同时还常年聘请中央电视台、山东广播电视台等媒体专业骨干任课。其中教授16人，副教授48人，硕士学位及以上教师占27％以上，双师型教师占比近60%。

学院开设的专业紧紧围绕行业发展需要，理论与实践并重，其课程比例为1:1，实现零距离上岗。

Shandong Communication & Media College is a full-time general college approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is under the jurisdiction of the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Radio and Television and is jointly managed by the Provincial Department of Education. It is a public general college of radio, television and mass media.

The main campus of the college is located in Jingshidong Road, Jinan City, Shandong Province, covering an area of nearly 1000 mu. The college now has 29 majors, which enroll students in 15 provinces across the country. The specialty covers the fields of broadcasting, film and television and new media, such as communication, production, art and technology, and has formed a "three-pronged" professional group construction pattern with the professional group of radio, film and television program production, the professional group of news communication, and the professional group of radio and television technology as the backbone.

The college has successively won the titles of "Advanced Collective of Provincial Radio and Television System", "Provincial Civilized Unit" and "Advanced Grassroots Unit of Safe Construction". In the "Shandong Education General Evaluation List" event organized by the "Popular Daily", "Qilu Evening News" and other news media, the college won the "most professional colleges" and "the top ten colleges with employment prospects".

The college pays attention to the combination with the development of radio, film and television and cultural media industries, has established nearly 200 off-campus teaching and scientific research practice bases including Shandong TV Station, and has established strategic cooperative relations with some local radio and television stations, providing excellent conditions for students' practical training and employment. The college has a special employment agency, and the one-time employment rate has remained at a high level of more than 95% for several consecutive years.

The college has complete teaching facilities and equipment. In addition to the teaching building, dormitory building, laboratory building, library, training center, and broadcasting center, it is also equipped with physical training room, gym, studio, computer room, multimedia classroom, voice room, broadcasting class classroom, electronic reading room, etc.

The college has a provincial Putonghua proficiency test station, a professional skill appraisal station for special types of work in the radio and television system, and a professional skill appraisal station for special types of work in the press and publishing system. The professional facilities and equipment of the teaching and training center in the school mainly include digital video non-editing station room, video linear editing room, EDIUS video non-linear editing room, Apple post-packaging room, two-dimensional animation laboratory, three-dimensional animation laboratory, 600 square meters of high-definition comprehensive studio, 200 square meters of training studio, 100 square meters of virtual studio, 200 square meters of studio, standard darkroom, standard broadcasting classroom The comprehensive training room for broadcasting and photographing, digital audio-visual training room, electronic assembly training room, radio and television equipment maintenance training room, cable television training room, computer network training room, television transmission and satellite transmission training room, etc., provide scientific research, experimental teaching and training venues for the whole college.

The college has a strong faculty, including a group of professional course teachers with rich practical experience in radio and television industry, and a group of basic course teachers who have been engaged in professional and technical education for many years and have achieved certain results. At the same time, it has also hired backbone media professionals such as CCTV and Shandong Radio and Television to teach all year round. Among them, there are 16 professors, 48 associate professors, more than 27% of teachers with master's degree and above, and nearly 60% of teachers with double qualifications.

The major offered by the college closely focuses on the development needs of the industry, attaches equal importance to both theory and practice, and the proportion of courses is 1:1, achieving zero distance to work.
