“Scientific and Technological Heritage between Traditional Architecture and New Technology” Online Training Camp is hosted by Center for Language Education and Cooperation, Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, and is undertaken by Tianjin Chengjian University. This project aims to let participants experience the charm of Chinese culture and gain a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of contemporary China, based on rich and varied courses about Chinese language, Chinese culture and Chinese architectural technology. This project includes 3 thematic activities: Chinese learning, Chinese cultural experience and Chinese architectural technology. Chinese learning theme is mainly about life communication, integrating architectural elements and highlighting the characteristics of science and technology engineering. Chinese cultural experience theme will guide students to enjoy Guqin Songs and appreciate the beauty of Chinese architecture and the charm of Tianjin. Chinese architectural technology theme invites famous professionals to introduce Chinese traditional architectural culture and contemporary advanced architectural technology. They will conduct real-time interaction with students to provide a brilliant online intelligent study trip.
