Shandong Urban Construction Vocational College has achieved such prestigious honors and titles as Nationally-Advanced Institution for Education of Building Science and Technologies,National Experimental Unit for Modern Apprenticeship, Pilot College to Implement the National System of One Graduation Certificate plus X Vocational Certificates (One plus X system ), Shandong High-quality Vocational College and Characteristic Prestigious College for Cultivation of Skilled Talents in Shandong etc. The college has played a major role in establishing more than ten industry associations with provincial and national influence, such as National Association of Modern Education for Construction Industry and Shandong Vocational Education Group of Construction Science and Technologies(one of the first leading vocational education groups nationwide).The college has four national-level centers,such as the training base for manufacturing precast parts of prefabricated buildings and the center to train teachers with both teaching and engineering qualifications.

学校坚持开放办学，积极开展对外交流，与10余所国外高校在办学、科研、师资培训方面保持密切合作。与韩国又松大学合作开设建筑动画与模型制作专业，与韩国全州大学合作开设环境艺术设计专业,与韩国三育大学合作开设建筑设计专业。学校先后承担对南苏丹、萨摩亚的对外培训工作，培训外籍技术人员100余人。贾芳老师于2018至2020年以国家公派教师身份至阿联酋扎耶德大学孔院，为阿扎耶德大学在校生、哈里法港、阿投资局、阿外交部中等进行汉语教学，辅导多人次通过HSK，指导学生取得“汉语桥”阿赛区一等奖。积极推广“鲁班文化，“鲁班文化”两次登上“汉语桥”大赛舞台，多次走进阿国际公司，通过阿国家创新月传播“鲁班文化”，中国国际电视频道（CGTN )进行了专题报道。

SUCVC has kept up an open mind and actively carried out  international exchanges.The college has kept close cooperation with more than 10 foreign universities and colleges in education,scientific research and faculty training.Up until now, the college has three internationally-running education programs, which are Architectural Design with Sahmyook University of South Korea, Environmental Art and Design with Jeonju University of South Korea, and Architectural Animation Technology with Woosong University of South Korea. The college has trained more than 100 technicians from South Sudan and Samoa. Professor Jia Fang of our college had taught Chinese,as a state-sponsored teacher in Confucius College in Zayed University,UAE,to language learners from Zayed University,Khalifa Port authorities,UAE Investment Department , the Foreign Ministry of UAE,etc., from 2018 to 2020.Under her teaching, quite a lot of learners have passed HSK and several students have obtained the first prizes in “Chinese Bridge” contests(UAE area). She has played an active role in promoting “the culture of Luban”. Topics about“the culture of Luban”have been selected in two of the “Chinese Bridge” contests. Luban culture has been given much regard by quite a few international companies in UAE and has been officially promoted by UAE government through national innovation initiatives, which has been been recorded in a feature story by CGTN(China Global Television Network). 

学校坚持走“产教融合、校企合作、育训结合”之路，持续提升社会服务能力。牵头组建山东省建设职业教育集团，是全国首批示范性职业教育集团培育单位、国家住房城乡建设行业职业培训基地。面向建筑和环保行业，助力新基建，举办智慧建造、辐射安全与防护等培训，每年培训总人数1万余人次。

The college has played a major role in establishing more than ten industry associations with provincial and national influence, such as National Association of Modern Education for Construction Industry and Shandong Vocational Education Group of Construction Science and Technologies(one of the first leading vocational education groups nationwide).The college has four national-level centers,such as the training base for manufacturing precast parts of prefabricated buildings and the center to train teachers with both teaching and engineering qualifications.The college provides more than 10,000 training opportunities in areas of smart building, and radiation protection etc., to serve for construction and environment-protection industries and support  new government policy focus on infrastructure.

学校重视以文化人、以文育人。科学构建“四位一体”中华优秀传统文化育人体系，铸就城建特色文化品牌，牵头成立了中国职教学会中华优秀传统文化传承与发展研究院。2018年，学校被教育部职业院校文化素质教指委认定为全国首批10所校园文化建设示范基地之一。2019年，学校中国古建筑文化与营造技艺传承基地入选山东省高校中华优秀传统文化传承基地。

SUCVC has adhered to the principle “to educate successors to the Great Master Luban, build beautiful cities and provide for a wonderful life”. The college has been co-founded the Research Institute for Inheritance and Development of Traditional Chinese Cultures.In 2018, the college has been selected as one of the top 10 culture training centers by China’s Ministry of Education.In 2019, the Training Center for Ancient Chinese Architecture and Traditional Craftsmanship has been chosen as one of the excellent traditional culture training centers in Shandong.
