After 12 years of study and exploration, Sino-German Technical College has forged the unique "14322" Jinan Dual Vocational Education System which is highlighted by Chinese National MOE as a leading standard throughout China and has been promoted to 16 countries by the cooperative enterprises of which most are the World's Top 500 enterprises and industry champions. The 5 pioneer German enterprises have now increased to 36 companies from Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden and China. In 2016, President Nyusi of got deeply impressed and satisfied after inspecting Sino-German Technical College. In the year of 2017, 35 vocational college teachers were selected throughout Mozambique and sent to Sino-German Technical College to receive the training of Jinan Dual Vocational Education System. In the year of 2021, the college was specially awarded by Shandong Provincial Government as an advanced collective for the transformation of old and new driving forces , which is the unique one in whole Shandong Provincial vocational colleges. In the year of 2022, it won the honor of the work model of the Ministry of Education of China and was selected as the Salute Brand to the 20th Congress of the Chinese Communist Party by the Shandong Provincial Education Department. The leaders at all levels, such as the Minister of Education, the former and current governor of Shandong Province, the Party Secretary and mayor of Jinan City etc. have all inspected Sino-German Technical College, which is the distinctive and innovative name card of JNVC.
中德技术学院历经12年学习借鉴探索，形成了国内独树一帜的“14322”双元制职业教育济南模式，被合作企业推广到了16个国家，合作的世界五百强和行业冠军企业由最初的5家德国企业发展到现在德国、瑞士、芬兰、瑞典、中国5个国家的36家企业；2016年莫桑比克总统纽西专程视察中德技术学院，印象深刻非常满意。2017年莫桑比克全国遴选出35名职业院校教师到中德技术学院接受济南双元制教育模式培训。2021年学院被山东省委省政府特别授予山东省新旧动能转换先进集体，是全山东省职业院校唯一。2022年获中国教育部工作样板荣誉，被山东省教育厅遴选为献礼中国共产党第二十届代表大会致敬品牌。教育部部长、上任和现任山东省省长及多任济南市市委书记市长等各级领导都曾视察中德技术学院，是学校的特色创新名片。
