浙江建设职业技术学院坐落于杭州钱塘江畔,创办于1958年,是浙江省唯一一所公办建设类全日制高等职业院校,办学60多年来,学院被确定为中国特色高水平高职学校建设单位(专业群A类)、国家优质专科高等职业院校、国家骨干高等职业院校、浙江省级示范性高等职业院校,为建设行业和地方经济建设输送了各类人才6万余名。
学校现有三个校区,共占地1000余亩。现有全日制高职在校生12000余名,各类纸质图书99万余册、电子图书96万余册。学校下设9个二级学院,以及基础教育部、实验实训部2个部。开设29个专业,其中,国家骨干专业6个,国家示范性骨干高职院校建设中央财政支持专业4个,国家高职院校提升专业服务产业发展能力中央财政支持专业2个,浙江省高职高专重点专业2个。
学校持续扩大教育对外开放,主动参与服务国家“一带一路”倡议,大力推进中外交流合作,形成全方位、多领域、深层次、有成效的办学国际化格局,与菲律宾八打雁州立大学共建中菲“一带一路”建筑技能人才丝路学院并在菲开展首次授课;与菲律宾唐博斯科大学签订战略合作协议,共建中菲建筑职业教育联盟,开展来华留学生招生工作;与亚太小水电研究培训中心合作培训国外人才。学校积极引进国外新技术16项,建有中德合作建筑新技术应用推广中心,与美国贝茨技术学院合作举办中外合作办学机构,与加拿大罗耶斯特文理学院合作举办建筑工程技术专业(国际工程方向),建设23门双语课程和29门国际元素微课程,与德国、英国、澳大利亚、新加坡、美国、加拿大等国家开展教师培训和交流交换生研学项目。学校与中国教育国际交流协会、美国路创电子公司三方合作共建“高职院校现代楼宇智能化专业提升项目”。

Zhejiang College of Construction is located in Hangzhou, China, on the bank of Qiantang River. Founded in 1958, it is the only full-time public construction vocational college in Zhejiang Province. Over the past 60 years, the college has been identified as a high-level vocational school construction unit with Chinese characteristics (professional group A), a national high quality specialized higher vocational college, a national backbone higher vocational college and Zhejiang provincial model higher vocational college. It has delivered more than 60,000 talents of various types to the construction industry and local economic construction.
Our college has three campuses covering a total area of more than 66 hectares. There are more than 12,000 full-time students, more than 990,000 paper books and 960,000 electronic books. The college has 9 secondary schools and 2 departments of Basic Education and Experimental Training. There are 29 majors, including 6 national backbone majors, 4 majors supported by the central government for the construction of national demonstration backbone colleges and universities, 2 majors supported by the central government for national colleges and universities to enhance the ability of professional services for industrial development, 2 higher vocational key majors of Zhejiang Province.
The college continues to expand the opening of education to the outside world, actively participates in serving the national “Belt and Road” Initiative, vigorously promotes exchanges and cooperation between China and foreign countries, and forms an all-round, multi-disciplinary, deep and effective internationalization pattern of school running. It jointly build the China-Philippines “Belt and Road” Silk Road College for Construction Skills Talents with the Batangas State University of Philippine and delivered the first lecture in the Philippines; signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Don Bosco Technical College of Philippine to jointly build the China-Philippines Construction Vocational Education Alliance and carry out the recruitment work of foreign students in China; and cooperated with Asia-Pacific Research and Training Center for Small Hydropower to jointly train foreign talents. The college has actively introduced 16 new foreign technologies, built the Sino-German cooperative construction new technology application and promotion center, built Bates Architectural Engineering Institute with Bates Technical College in the United States, and cooperated with Loyalist College of Applied Arts and Technology in Canada to offer construction engineering technology majors (international engineering project), and built 23 bilingual courses and 29 international element micro-courses. The College has also launched teacher training and student exchange study programs with Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, the United States, Canada and other countries. It also cooperates with China Education Association for International Exchange and Lutron Electronics Inc. to jointly build the “Modern Building Intelligence Professional Improvement Project for Higher Vocational Institutions”.
With the spirit of “dare to shine and aspire to become stronger”, we will deepen comprehensive reforms, concentrate on our efforts and move forward, and strive to build a high-level higher vocational college with Chinese characteristics.
