我院是广东省内唯一一所公办建筑类高职院，广东省具有来华留学资质的院校之一，目前有广州、清远两个校区，占地面积近1000亩，全日制高职在校生2.2万名，校园环境优美，是海内外学子求知成才的理想之所。

在国家发改委立项支持下，建设有国家岭南建筑技术产教融合基地，可以在真实情境中学习各项现代及传统建筑技术，包括设计、施工、水电、装饰、物管等，并充分结合了现代科技如BIM、装配式、智能化等。

随着粤港澳湾区建设已纳入国家重大发展规划，依托我院牵头立项建设的国家示范性职教集团——广东建设职教集团（含湾区成员单位100余家），积极构建粤港澳湾区建筑技能人才培养基地，在已培养培训21万多名高素质技术技能型人才的基础上，进一步打造现代鲁班摇篮，携手服务国际化发展。

我校立足“建设行业”，开展土木工程、建筑信息、管理类与语言类等多种类型专业教学，与300多家行业企业保持紧密合作关系，形成了有效的校企合作办学体制机制，为学生提供大量企业实习机会，并开展学徒拜师与实训、建筑文化体验、课外文体赛事、学生社团交流等多种活动，注重培养学生的实践能力、创造能力。

Our polytechnic is the only public higher vocational college for architecture industry in Guangdong Province. It is one of the colleges in Guangdong that are qualified to admit foreign students arriving in China. Currently, there are two campuses, one of which in Guangzhou and another in Qingyuan, covering an area of nearly 1,000 acres. There are 22,000 students and the beautiful campus environment is an ideal place for students, both local and from abroad, to acquire knowledge and become talents.
With the support of the National Development and Reform Commission, a national Lingnan Production-education Integration Base for construction technique has been built, in which students can learn various modern and traditional construction technologies in real-life situations. The fields they can dug into including design, construction, water and electricity, decoration, property management and so on, with the training methods fully integrated with modern Technology such as BIM, assembly, intelligence, etc.
As the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area has been incorporated into the national major development plan, relying on the national exemplary vocational education group leaded by our institute, the Guangdong Construction Vocational Education Group (including more than 100 members from the Bay Area), we are actively building the construction skills talent training base for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area. With more than 210,000 high-quality technical skills talents already been trained, we are working on further developing “the cradle of modern Luban”, and together we will serve international development of China.

Being in architecture industry, our polytechnic has a number of majors such as civil engineering, construction information, management and specialized language.
