Hosted by Center for Language Education and Cooperation and organized by Yantai Vocational College, this programme is a “Chinese Bridge” online group exchange. With the theme of “Chinese + Traditional Chinese Skills”, the programme takes into consideration the needs of international students to learn Chinese and understand Chinese culture. Based on traditional Chinese skills, the programme contains various elaborately designed traditional skills courses, such as Plant Dyes, Chinese Frog, Chinese Knot and Tea Art. As the courses highlight interest, participation, and interaction, students can learn by doing, feel the joy of interaction, and appreciate the exquisiteness of traditional Chinese skills. Besides, the programme has designed Chinese teaching courses to help international students improve Chinese proficiency and understand contemporary China. Students are expected to make contribution to cultural exchange between countries and regions through experiencing traditional Chinese skills and perceiving Chinese culture.
