Based on MOOC "Charming Chinese Characters", sponsored by "Chinese Bridge", Online Group Exchange Program 2021 is organized by Wuhan University of Science and Technology (WUST) for the international students inside and outside China, who are interested in Chinese language. By online live lessons and video lessons and telling the stories behind the Chinese Characters, the programme aims to nurture international friends’ interest in learning Chinese characters and Chinese language to better understand China. The learners will learn Chinese characters in specific scenes, for example, they will have a virtual tour to the Hubei Provincial Museum, to look at a lacquerware treasure of the museum - the Tiger Base Phoenix Frame Drum with a history of more than two thousand years, they will enjoy the chime music and dance to experience the "living relics", and they will experience traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony as well. In addition, they will another virtual tour into the Intangible Heritage Museum to learn, experience ancient skills, and dialogue with history and space.
