德宏师范高等专科学校
德宏师范高等专科学校是教育部批准成立的省属公办全日制普通高等学校,由云南省教育厅主管。学校位于云南省德宏傣族景颇族自治州州府芒市,其前身为创办于1955年的德宏州民族师范学校、1958年的德宏州农校和1978年的德宏师专班;1984年4月经云南省人民政府批准,在德宏师专班基础上成立德宏教育学院。2006年2月,经国务院教育行政部门批准,德宏教育学院改制为德宏师范高等专科学校。学校占地1095.20亩,建筑面积294057.05平方米,总资产10亿余元,现有专任教师456人,在校学生1万余人。学校坚持“立足德宏,面向云南,辐射周边国家,为基础教育培养合格教师,为促进地方经济社会发展培养高素质应用型人才”的办学理念,先后培养了40000多名毕业生,其中,培养留学生500余人。历经60余年积淀,已成为一所以教育学学科为龙头,师范专业为重点,多学科交叉协同发展的地方应用型师范学校。
Dehong Teachers' College, under the supervision of Yunnan Provincial Department of Education, is a full-time public higher education institution approved by Ministry of Education of the People' Republic of China. The college is located in Mangshi, the capital of Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Its predecessors were Dehong National Teachers' School founded in 1955, Dehong Prefectural Agricultural School in 1958, Dehong Teachers' School in 1978 and Dehong Education College established on the basis of Dehong Teachers’ School and approved by Yunnan Provincial People's Government in April, 1984. In February 2006, with the approval of the education administrative department of the State Council of China, Dehong Education College was restructured into Dehong Teachers' College. At present, the college covers an area of 1,095.20 mu or 730,133.33 square meters, with a construction area of 294,057.05 square meters, total assets of more than 1 billion yuan, 456 full-time teachers and more than 10,000 students. The school adheres to the school-running philosophy of "based in Dehong, facing Yunnan, radiating to neighboring countries, cultivating qualified teachers for basic education, and cultivating high-quality applied talents for local economic and social development" and has trained beyond 40,000 graduates, including over 500 international students. After more than 60 years of development, the college has become a local application-oriented and multi-disciplinary cross-coordinated teachers' school, with education discipline as the lead and teacher training discipline as the focus.
