In order to promote international Chinese education under the new situation, our university has applied for the "Chinese Bridge" online group exchange project, integrating educational resources in and out, to guarantee international students a unique experience in a week by the cloud platform of the profound Chinese language and culture , observing the real China, and establishing friendship with counterpart students. The TNU is committed to the development of Chinese language education and cultural exchanges between our university and international close-related and cooperative counterparts, integrating our experience from previous projects. By those methods above, the TNU will present the content of language learn and cultures exchange out of new perspectives and forms so that students’ actual needs of learning Chinese language and knowing the contemporary China will be satisfied through the project. Language learning and cultural exchange are the themes of the project. In line with the characteristics and needs of young students, the project highlights the distinctive features of Chinese culture through the three-dimensional and multimode syllabus. The project will meet the needs of students to learn Chinese knowledge and to improve their communicational skills; whilst by direct online cultural activities, students could follow the camera to e-tour our ecological campus as an epitome of Chinese universities and Campus life. The project will visually present campus life, fashion, and abundant of folk arts. Students could also appreciate, observe and make handicrafts like Tianjin Yangliu Qing Paintings and Clay Figurines online. Students can also learn the long history of Chinese characters, clothes and accessories. Through the activities above, students will know about China and further become a friendly bridge.
