Chinese Bridge Winter Camp in China aims to provide an in-depth immersion experience for international students, who are interested in learning Mandarin and Chinese culture, an opportunity to gain more knowledge in their continual pursuit of Chinese language and culture. The best learning environment for any foreign language is no other than the communicating with native speakers; allowing students to be fully immersed and engaged through realistic practices to reach the optimal learning outcome. This winter camp project is one of the "Chinese Bridge" online group projects of Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education undertaken by Hunan Vocational College of Science and Technology. The winter camp lasts for two weeks and uses three modules of "real-time teaching + online activities + video courses" to carry out teaching activities. Li Jing, a key teacher of the Humanities and Music Institute of Hunan Vocational College of Science and Technology, teaches practical Chinese listening and speaking, HSK exam analysis, Hunan culture and other courses, and is accompanied by live courses such as calligraphy, Chinese painting, martial arts, folk music, and Chinese opera.
