新疆财经大学位于美丽的乌鲁木齐市，是新疆维吾尔自治区人民政府创办的重点大学。经过70多年的建设和发展，学校已形成本科、硕士、博士完整的人才培养体系，分布在经济学、管理学、法学、工学、理学、文学六大学科。学校被评为中国首批深化创新创业教育改革示范校。学校与哈萨克斯坦阿克托别州朱巴诺夫大学合作建立了孔子学院，与美国威斯康辛协和大学、韩国又松大学、俄罗斯新西伯利亚经济管理大学等40余所国外大学建立了合作关系。学校正致力于建设“新疆名牌、西北一流、全国知名、辐射中亚”的有特色、高水平、应用型财经大学。

Located in beautiful Urumqi, Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics (XJUFE) is a key university established by the government of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. With over 70 years of construction and development, it has formed a complete talent cultivating system including undergraduate, master and PhD programs, covering six disciplines, namely, economics, management, legislation, engineering, science and literature. It has been rated as one of the first national demonstration schools to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in China. XJUFE has established the Confucius Institute in cooperation with Aktobe Zhubanov Regional University in Kazakhstan.
