当今世界，国际化已经成为教育发展的一种全球性趋势，它不仅是一种教育理念，而且是一种正在全球范围内展开的教育实践活动。石河子大学一直秉承教育国际化理念，广泛开展对外交流与合作，先后与美国、俄罗斯、白俄罗斯、新西兰、澳大利亚、韩国、日本等国家的70多所高校和科研机构开展多层次、宽领域的交流与合作。

目前，借助留学基金委的政府奖学金、121中美人才培养计划、国家建设高水平大学公派研究生等项目，我校约50%的专业教师和10%左右的学生前往美国、俄罗斯、新西兰等国交流和学习。与来自加拿大、澳大利亚、新西兰、俄罗斯等地区科研合作团队保持密切合作与交流，并常年聘请俄语、英语、阿拉伯语等语种外教来校任教。

除此之外，学校有来自美国、俄罗斯、哈萨克斯坦的学生学习汉语，常年接收来自印度、巴基斯坦的医学专业留学生，并接收农学、生物科学、化工等专业的博士研究生。截至目前，先后有19个国家的1200余名学校来我校留学。

广泛的国际交流与合作为增长了我校师生的国际视野，提升了我校的国际竞争力，为我校建设“西部先进、中亚一流、国际知名”的有特色、高水平的大学打下了良好的基础。

In today's world, internationalization has become a global trend in the development of education. It is not only an educational concept, but also an educational practice that is being carried out on a global scale. Shihezi University has always been adhering to the concept of the internationalization of education and has carried out extensive foreign exchanges and cooperation. It has successively carried out multi-level and wide-area exchanges and cooperation with more than 70 universities and scientific research institutions in the United States, Russia, Belarus, New Zealand, Australia, South Korea, and Japan.

At present, with the help of government scholarships from the China Scholarship Council, 121 China-US Talent Training Program, and publicly-sponsored postgraduates from high-level national universities, about 50% of our professional teachers and 10% of our students travel to the United States, Russia, New Zealand and other countries for exchanges and learn. Maintain close cooperation and exchanges with scientific research teams from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Russia and other regions, and hire foreign teachers in Russian, English, Arabic and other languages to teach in our university all year round.

In addition, our university has students from the United States, Russia, and Kazakhstan to learn Chinese. It accepts medical students from India and Pakistan throughout the year, as well as doctoral students in agriculture, biological sciences, and chemical engineering. Up to now, more than 1,200 schools from 19 countries have come to our school to study.

Extensive international exchanges and cooperation have increased the international vision of our university’s teachers and students, enhanced our university’s international competitiveness, and helped our university build a distinctive and high-level university with "advanced in the west, first-class in Central Asia, and internationally renowned" a good foundation.
