SISU's Confucius Institutes Summer Camp Online 2021 aims to promote the understanding of the Chinese language and culture among Chinese learners and fuel the people-to-people exchanges between China and Japan. The program is designed for Chinese language and culture lovers in Japan. For the language module, this program uses materials designed by Office of Confucius Institutes, SISU, including the Chinese textbook "Discover Shanghai", the video tutorials "Show You Around Shanghai, the "Magic City", and "Living in the Magic City: Discovering and Experiencing Shanghai". The program aims to help participants fully experience the beauty and charm of Shanghai and understand China better while they stay far away. All videos have Japanese subtitles. In addition, lectures on Chinese culture will provide a more systematic and comprehensive overview of ancient and modern China. The cultural salon will bring together the cultures of two countries, which will not only provide participants with an all-round understanding of the living and studying environment in China, but will also strengthen cultural interactions between Japan and China and promote the exchange and appreciation of civilizations.
