Over the years, abundant folktales characterized with vividness and popularity have been handed down in China. They have an impact on the cultural growth of Chinese people, and also support the cultural confidence of China’s unique style. Nowadays, “Chinese fashion trend” has revived again. With the new trend, the classical folktales featured with rich Chinese local characteristics have been mentioned again; moreover, manifold and diverse Chinese elements are brought into films, brands and other industries. The significance of introducing the Chinese traditional folktales in the course is not only to promote the traditional culture of China, but also to enhance our own cultural identity and acceptance. Therefore, this series of courses of the program is specially set up.
