China has complex terrains and characterized by diversified ecological environment. As the saying goes, “the unique features of a local environment always give special characteristics to its inhabitants”, as a unified and balanced natural system, geographical resources contain profound cultural values and has nurtured a long history of China civilization. While learning from and influencing the environmental protection policies of other countries, China constantly enrich overall environmental protection measures, which has won the appreciation and recognition around the world. Meanwhile, ecological and environmental protection in Jilin, Yunnan, Sichuan Province has also attracted extensive attention. That is because the ecological environment and environmental protection of these places are very representative, and they have made great contributions to our understanding of the territorial origin of Chinese civilization. Therefore, the significance of introducing China’s ecology and environmental protection lies not only in helping us to understand China’s beautiful natural ecology, but also in helping us better probe into the hinterland of civilization and feel the profundity of Chinese culture in education. Hence, this series of courses of the program is specially set up.
